Dr. Kay's Awards
The Bustad Companion Animal Veterinarian of the Year Award (2011)

Named for the late Leo K. Bustad, DVM, PhD, a former dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University and a past president of the Delta Society, this award was developed to recognize the outstanding work of veterinarians in preserving and protecting human-animal relationships. Dr. Nancy Kay was selected to receive the 2011 Bustad Companion Animal Veterinarian of the Year Award which is co-sponsored by the American Veterinary Medical Association, Delta Society, and Hill's Pet Nutrition.

Dog Writers Association of America Annual Writing Competition (2010)

Dr. Kay's article, "A Dozen Simple Ways to Know You are Working with a Reputable Breeder", published in Alpenhorn, was the recipient of the American Kennel Club Publication Excellence Award.
American Animal Hospital Association Animal Welfare and Humane Ethics Award

Dr. Nancy Kay was selected by the American Animal Hospital Association to receive the 2009 Hill's Animal Welfare and Humane Ethics Award. This award is given annually to a veterinarian or nonveterinarian who has advanced animal welfare through extraordinary service or by furthering humane principles, education, and understanding. She received the award at the AAHA Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
