I discuss the same subject matter with every client, almost exactly as you stated and offer similar suggestions from Everyone's gone Surfin' part 2. I offer Vet referrals to new clients who don't know of a Vet or help clients who are unhappy with their current Vet find another Vet. As a trainer, I get questions from clients who have surfed for training advice or watch TV training and are confused by the myriad of training techniques.
