Thank you for helping people know how to search the web rather than simply discouraging it (as many annoyed doctors and vets do).

When Sam was first diagnosed with Addison's, I spent hours sifting through the websites that came up in my search. I decided on Addison Dogs because they gave the most precise and well-advised information. Unlike the sites hawking their own products, Adogs gave a frank and realistic approach to this (at first) scary disease. Whether you're confused by the science, or just need a shoulder to cry on, they have been a great help. I am currently reading 'Speaking for Spot', which I first heard about on the Adogs website. Thanks Dr. Kay for being such a good advocate for pets and the people who love them!

For those whose companions are afflicted with bone cancer I would recommend the group below for well researched and documented information and emotional support. I have been a member since my first Rottweiler, Emma, was diagnosed with OSA and wonder how anyone can deal with this disease without the kind of supportive and knowledgeable people I found here.

http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/bonecancerdogs and bonecancerdogs.org

Thanks, Dr Nancy for encouraging us to be our dogs' adovcates.
